Joe Hancock 1923-1943
He was one of the all time great sires
of rope horses. Before his career was
over, Joe was open to the world at
any distance from starting line to
3/8 of a mile. Joe Hancock
is indeed a legend and in 1992 was in
inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame.





Blue Valentine 1956-1981
Dell Haverty Hall of Fame Cowboy,
bought Blue Valentine from Kenny
Gunter as a yearling in 1957. He
used him for tiedown roping, team
roping and steer roping.




Driftwood  1932-1960
Driftwood was a winning race and an outstanding
rodeo mount.  That is enough to have gained him a
reputaion among horseman.  More inportantly, he
passed on his speed, athletic talents, his functional
good looks and willing mind to his get.




Red Man 1935-1974?
Red Man, one of Joe Hancock's greatest
sons, was a terrific sire of rope & race
horses. Red Man took great ropers,
Balis Harris, Ike Rude, Troy Fort and
Buckshot Sorrels to the pay window.
Sorrels won the tie-down roping at
the Cheyenne Frontier Days on Red
Man in 1943.
